Ben Hasan Receives Temple Fox School IT Award:

Temple University's Fox School of Business Management honors three technology
leaders at its Sixth Annual Fox Information Technology Awards.
Awardees include Fox alumnus Ben-Saba Hasan (BBA 1983), Dell's vice president of corporate and product group IT; Susan J. Unger, senior vice president and chief information officer for DaimlerChrysler AG; and Jeffrey Citron, co-founder, chairman and chief executive officer for Vonage.
"These awards recognize outstanding role models in the industry for our students, leaders and innovators who are creating business opportunities by guiding the students, leaders and innovators who are creating business opportunities by guiding the use and development of IT in business," said Munir Mandviwalla, chair of the MIS department and executive director of the Irwin L. Gross eBusiness Institute.
Ben, winner of the Fox IT Award for Distinguished Alumni, directs Dell's development, deployment, operation and support of information systems for human resources, facilities, legal, environmental safety and product group systems. Additionally, he directs the global IT application development and support for the product group's design centers in Shanghai, Taipei, Singapore and Bangalore. Ben also serves as executive sponsor for the diversity efforts for Dell IT.
The Fox School's MIS Department focuses on research and teaching on the use, management and development of organizational information systems. The Irwing L. Gross eBusiness Institute enables integrative business technology education and research by organizing professional development, workshops, forums and other activities.
