Room Rate/Hotel Reservations
ITSMF/HITEC has negotiated the special discounted rate of $215.00/night plus tax (currently 16%) and a daily resort fee (currently $15.00/night). This special rate is available until Monday, January 16, 2012 or until the discounted rate is sold out. This rate will also be available three days before and three days after the Symposium, based on availability. Atrium View rooms are also available at a special upgrade rate of $40/night, based on availability.

Resort Fee
A daily resort fee will be charged in addition to the guest room rate. This fee will cover several in-room amenities which, at the time of check-in, will include:

Shuttle Service
Gaylord National Resort offers an exclusive, express shuttle to and from Reagan National Airport. This service will depart every twenty minutes from Gaylord National's front door to Reagan National Airport, and every twenty minutes from the Reagan National Airport baggage claim. Reservations are recommended, but tickets also will be available from the SuperShuttle desk, located on the lower level of the airport, near baggage claim.

1st Quarter Symposium
"Visioning the Future: From Foresight to Insight to Action!" is the theme for the 2012 ITSMF/HITEC First Quarter Symposium to be held at the Gaylord National Resort. The symposium includes 2½ days of in-depth discussions and small-group forums led by renowned industry leaders. Many of the Nation's leading IT executives and top government officials will be in attendance.
The event will kick-off on Thursday with an exclusive networking/welcome reception. Guests will have the opportunity to interact with IT Executives from many of the country's most successful companies.
The symposium's keynote speaker, Dr. Bob Johansen, Distinguished Fellow at the Institute of the Future, will draw from the second edition of his book, Leaders Make the Future: Ten New Leadership Skills for an Uncertain World, as well as from his bestseller, There Early: Sensing the Future to Compete in the Present, which first introduced the "Foresight to Insight to Action" model. During this interactive session, Dr. Johansen will share his forward-looking, ten-year forecast, but will suggest insights for today's work and life choices.
