The EMERGE Academy leadership development experience is a one-year program specifically designed for women of color in technology. Our mission is to hear her voice and increase the representation of women of color at senior levels in technology through a series of professional workshops, supportive environments and model leadership, with an eye toward the unique experiences women leaders of color have in the workplace.
The curriculum is designed for mid and executive level women leaders of color to support their progression as authentic, driven, knowledgeable and conscious leaders. This 12-month program is not only designed to help them grow professionally, but also lead them on a path of self-discovery and direction through a Seek (“who I am”), Study (“what I know”), Soar (“who I become”) framework. The experience is delivered in both virtual and physical classroom settings and also includes attitudinal assessments, executive coaching, accountability partners and a capstone project.
The EMERGE Academy is led by Kailei Carr, a champion for women in leadership and an advisor to executive and executive-bound women. The Academy faculty is comprised of an elite set of certified coaches, subject matter experts and VIP visitors.
Enrollment for the EMERGE Academy is from February 1st through April 1st with sessions starting in May. The application process is as follows:

- Submit a recommendation from an ITSMF member (current or inactive) or a representative from a sponsoring company
